I noticed a lot of vitamin deficiencies will cause similar issues that stress and anxiety do. How can I know the difference without needing to go to the doctor? I hate going to the doctor so I only go when I absolutely need to. I have white coat syndrome so being around a doctor raises my blood pressure. It is awful.
I know there are different signs and symptoms that are common with vitamin deficiencies but they often overlap with so many other things. I don’t think there is a sure-fire way to know without being tested via bloodwork.
I think you can assume you have something when your skin colour is off (think red cheeks/face), you have dry skin, hair loss, weak nails, and tooth loss or decay. Those are almost always tied in with deficiencies. Also, I have read that stress itself can cause them.
