Does anyone else have sleep issues from anxiety? I never had this prior to moving. I moved in 2014 and started having issues with my sleep a year or so after the fact. I don’t know if it is down to the house I live in now or what. I have not been able to sleep through the night in years. Now I have back pain that wakes me up most nights which makes it even harder. At most, I will sleep 5 hours and wake up. This is only sometimes. Most nights I wake up after 3 hours and it can take 1 to 2 hours to fall back asleep. Could this all be from anxiety?

I have nights where I wake up often. This is usually down to me being too warm. Have you tried sleeping cooler? Maybe keep the window open at night and use 100% cotton sheets. You can try sleeping in the nude if you don’t already. I heard this helps people stay cool. I never could, too paranoid about bugs! lol

Anytime my anxiety is worse at night, I have issues with insomnia. So I know this can be a result of your anxiety. It is worth ruling out other possibilities as well though. If you have issues with breathing while you sleep or have GERD, this can also wake you up every few hours.
