Has anyone tried taking up yoga as a means to reduce anxiety? This is something I had been curious about for a while but never actually joined a class. We had some in the area but they closed due to COVID and one is said to be opening back up next month. I am thinking about joining a beginner’s class to see if it helps.
I did yoga when I was younger and it did help curb the severity and the occurrence for me but it never truly ended the anxiety. I think I just have a very sensitive response to stress. This is what I have been told by two doctors as well.
I think any kind of exercise you enjoy could help so I don’t see why yoga would be any different. I have never done it. We don’t have any sort of yoga spot where I live. I can do online videos but I would never be able to stick to something like that.
